The Boy from the Sea by Garrett Carr is our Book Club Read for February!

Thank  you to all of you who came along to our January meet ups - it was fantastic to hear about the books that you read over the new year, your favourites and the very long list of book recommendations for members to share! 

Our next book is the critically acclaimed debut novel The Boy from the Sea by Garrett Carr - a Donegal-set saga about an abandoned child. Garrett will be in conversation with bookshop owner Kelly on Monday 2nd February and tickets are available to purchase through the events section of the website or at the shop counters. We'd love to see you there!

We don't charge for Book Club and have always wanted these to be accessible and open to everyone. However, with the rising costs of everything, we are asking for a contribution of £2 per person as a donation, only if you are comfortable and able to. We don't want money to be a barrier to accessing the Book Club community so this will be completely voluntary. Your support is always appreciated and thank everyone that buys the Book Club book and more.
